His Dream Realized or Not?

Martin Luther King Day, Janurary 21, 2008

Martin Luther King is a natinal hero. He fought the good fight, preaching non-violence, leaded anti-esgregation marches, and posturing as the leader of America's black population.

Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated by James Earl Ray in the 40 year. He was on the veranda of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tenn.

His death caused racial riots in every magor city in the nation, mchief among them Baltimore and Washington, DC. Dozens were killed thousdands were arrested.

Today we can rec King's assassination
-Where we were.
-How it affected us.
-What it meant in the greater realm of things.

The young children has a very limit of understanding of who Dr.king was and what his sacrifice meant.

America is a far different place than the America that took the life of Dr. King 40 year ago.

His memory remains strong.
His effort for the people of this nation and, for what this nation is supposed to stand, were profound.
